They will keep you focused on reaching for particular results. However, many goals can’t be achieved in a short amount of time. As a result they require evaluating them later on. You may find you need to shift your focus at that point in time.
Some view changing goals midway through reaching them cheating. You aren’t changing them though to fit what you are doing right now. You should always be reaching for something more. However, the needs of consumers manipulate how you have to operate your business. If you don’t follow their lead then you will be left behind.
Once you have evaluated your goals for the business you can continue to have a focus out there to follow. You should also take some time to reflect on all that you have already accomplished. While your business will always be a work in progress there are many terrific milestones along the way.
Don’t miss out on seeing them because you have only been seeing that end result. Make sure the goals of your business are written down too and that all involved in making them happen understand why they are so important.
